Multiuser Detection for Multi-Rate CDMA in Multi-Path Fading Channels

چکیده
Multi-code (MC) access and Variable-Spreading-Length (YSL) access are two widely applied realizations for multidata-rate services in direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (DSEDM) systems. We study the behavior of these two multi-rate realizations operating in multi-path fading channels. Bounds of minimum probability of error based on maximum-likelihood sequence detection are developed for. peformance evaluations. Asymptotic multiuser eficiency is also analyzed as another performance index.
